Unless you are sure the COATING* and dye** on the Jute/Hessian/Burlap bag is biodegradable, non toxic and not harmful to animals when ingested, it is advisable to use UNCOATED, undyed natural Jute/Hessian/Burlap. We are currently testing the durability and practicality of bags coated with a biodegradable solution! Until we can offer a coated (commonly known as laminated) 100% biodegradable Hessian/Jute bag, our bags will remain non waterproof!*usually polypropylene which makes the bags rigid and waterproof! **manufacturers claiming to produce a 100% eco friendly product will use non toxic biodegradable dye and print ink! |
